Individuals with disabilities (including conditions related to HIV infection) have a right to reasonable accommodations in the workplace if they do not result in undue hardship to an employer. Although individuals with episodic disabilities do not need to disclose a disease or health diagnosis, they are responsible for communicating the nature and extent of their work limitations and may be asked to provide medical confirmation of a health condition.
