AIDS 2022 is an opportunity for Canada to reaffirm its commitment to the global response to HIV, hepatitis C, and related blood-borne infections; the Canada Pavilion will showcase challenges met and overcome, and best practices related to prevention, treatment, and care. The Canada Pavilion has historically been led by civil society with support from the Government of Canada.
A National Advisory Committee was formed to support the planning and preparation of the Pavilion and related events post-AIDS 2022, and provide feedback on theme, messaging, and activities. Members are engaged in Canada’s HIV response at home and abroad. Committee members represent the diversity of actors in Canadian HIV/AIDS response, and include representation from: people living with HIV/AIDS, governmental and non-governmental organizations, service providers, researchers, health care professionals, and community-based organizations.
